Estimated SHIPDATE is April 14, 2025 but we must have temperatures above 50 degrees for it to be safe to ship for chicks. The safety of our chicks is our priority, by purchasing our chicks you agree to be patient with us on our shipping dates.
Chicks are a couple days up to 3 weeks old at the time of shipping if we have shipping delays. All Feather types are possible and the chicks are not sexed (straight-run). Please view pictures that show the color & feather type possibilities for each group. We do not vaccinate our chicks.

- The photos on our listings should only be viewed as a reference, they are not the actual birds you are purchasing. Colors and patterns vary bird to bird.
- CHICKS are only offered straight-run (not sexed) and range from days old up to 3 weeks old if we have weather that delays shipping.
- Estimated ship date is April 14, 2025, weather pending. We are located in Iowa, so please be flexible on when we can safely ship them to you. We need temperatures to be above 50 degrees for our location and yours. Birds take 2-3 days on average to arrive to you. Your post office will call you to pick them up.
- Minimum of 6 chicks to safely ship.
- We can fit up to 20 chicks in your shipping box, buy 20 and only pay $15 for shipping.

- Pullets/Hens = Females
- Cockerel/Rooster = Males
- Straight-run = You could receive either gender.
- Splits= could end up a solid color or have limited pattern but carry the gene for their color/pattern. Splits can be hard to identify because the bird can show pattern but ultimately molt out most of their pattern. Splits are possible in most of our color pens.
- Showgirl = Naked neck (yes, they are winter hardy!)
- Pet Quality = We consider any Bird that has a straight/single comb (above photo) pet quality.
