• Roughly 8-12 weeks (2 months old) of age when they are ready to go to their new homes.
• Two minimum, juveniles need to go with a buddy for their well being.
• Up to 4 birds per shipping box. Shipping fees will be billed once we confirm we are ready to ship. On average, Priority mail Express shipping with our certified poultry safe boxes ranges from $65-110 per box.
• You select color, feather type and gender (DNA-sexed)
• Pullets are hens/females and cockerels are roosters/males.
• Estimated ship/pickup timeframe is June-Fall (fall for us is till early November). We do not have exact dates, we are a small breeder and will contact you when we have birds available matching your order. If we have birds matching your order available sooner, we will contact you.
• Pickup in Palo, Iowa or you will pay your estimated shipping fees for Priority mail Express with USPS when we contact you to confirm you're ready to receive your birds.
• We will not ship you your birds until temperatures are safe on our end and yours, NO EXCEPTIONS! We are not responsible to delays due to weather, fertility, DNA results or other reasons beyond our control. You agree to be patient on when you receive your birds.

• Large orders of 4+ birds could result in separate shipping dates due to us being a small breeder.
• Discounted Faulted pullets could be any color, feather type or even showgirls. You cannot choose their color, they are considered mystery pullets. They could have faults in their combs, wings, crest (head poofs) etc.
• Satins and frizzles require patience on receiving, 90% of what we hatch are Silkies.
• All of our birds come from project pens. Our solid colors could come with white feathers due to having mottled genes in their lines.
• 4H & show homes: We do not claim to produce show quality birds nor do we show. However, you can show our birds. Silkies are shown as bantam feather legged. You can show any color pattern, even if not recognized. Recognized colors are black, blue, white, buff , gray, paint, self blue, partridge and splash. Our frizzles show under which ever color they fall under.

• Weekday availability for pickup, weekend is possible depending on time/day but we are in the process of helping a family member move out of their home this weekend (July 24-26). Please add to note section at checkout your availability for pickup and we will email you to confirm date/time and send our address.
• Bring a pet carrier or box with shavings on the bottom at pickup so they do not slip around during transport.
• Cash at pickup is available, send me a screenshot of your cart and I will have you send me a $50 non-refundable deposit to hold them until your scheduled pickup date where balance is due in full in cash, venmo, zelle or cashapp only. We are no longer accepting credit cards due to people filing for charge backs after picking up their birds.
• ALL feathered juveniles are pullets and are up to 5 months of age.

• Listing Includes 2 DNA verified Pullets = Young hens/females.
• We choose your birds when having us ship your birds. We aim to send visually different looking girls so you can tell them apart and receive a fun variety. However, we are limited to the colors we hatch and gender results so a true variety is not guaranteed.
• View the colors & feather types you could receive by clicking here.  80% of who we hatch has Silkie feathers. Satins & frizzles are not as common so there is a chance you could only receive Silkie. Smaller chance at receiving a Showgirl (Naked Neck), so please request one if you hope to get one.
                 Requests?: Have a unicorn chicken in mind? Let us know in the notes at checkout a color or feather type you'd love to have one of the pullets be! We will do our best to fulfil your request but we are limited to what we have available and it might not be possible, so keep this in mind prior to ordering.

• Pickup in Palo, Iowa is available. We can fill orders sooner when picking up due to it being to hot to ship. We are happy to bring out a few girls to choose from when you arrive for pickup (Cash at pickup is okay, just Email us to schedule fluffybottomscoop@gmail.com ) Your Girls could be up to 4 months of age when picking up.

• Shipping: WE DO NOT HAVE Approximate SHIPPING DATES!!! It could be late fall (early November) before you receive your girls when selecting to have us ship them to you due to temperatures being to hot during July-September. Shipping Fee includes USPS Express Label, poultry certified shipping box, water bottle and feed for their journey to you. Add-on a brand new Airtag that is yours to keep to track your girls if you'd like to know exactly where they are on their journey to you once they ship. We can fit 4 girls per shipping box, any additional shipping boxes needed will be your responsibility to pay once we're ready to ship this fall (late September-November is our estimated timeframe, no exact dates, we will contact you via e-mail  to arrange shipping once we have girls to ship you.

• Most of our pullets will be roughly 8-12 weeks of age when shipped but could be up to 4 months old if we experience delays or you are picking up.

• We are offering these girls as pets and we do not breed for many standard colors here. Due to this, cosmetic faults in toes, wings and skin color are possible.

This listing is for Mottled (colors possible are black, chocolate, mauve, butterscotch and blue) and Mille Fleur (not as many from Mille currently, lots of broody girls so most orders only get 2-4 eggs each, please leave note at checkout if you want to wait until we can send an even mix of 6/12 eggs to be Mille OR all mottled. We cannot send a dozen fresh of just Mille, this request will be taken as wanting to wait for half Mille and half mottled).

Eggs will start shipping week of September 7th. We ship eggs on Monday, Tuesdays and Fridays. Purchasing more than a dozen couple possibly result in eggs being shipped on separate dates.

USPS Priority Mail shipping with tracking is included.
